Casting design

We have more than ten years of experience in casting design of different steel, iron and aluminum grades, as well as special expertise in sand 3D printed molds and their design.

Our core competence is that we design your product in the most cost-effective way. We use the combination of traditional pattern making and modern 3D printing technology depending on the characteristics of your product and what is the best way to produce it. This combination of traditional pattern making and 3D printed molds fits perfectly into the production lines of traditional foundries. 

The product designing is done in-house and the manufacturing is outsourced for the most suitable Finnish foundry according to the desired material, unit and series size.

Castings and spare parts

3D Casting is specialized in casting design and delivering castings straight from CAD models. If drawings or 3D files are not available, don’t worry, we can design your spare part by reverse engineering and 3D scanning.
We can produce individual prototypes and spare parts, small series and even larger batches through our collaborative foundries.
The product designing is done in-house and the manufacturing is outsourced for the most suitable Finnish foundry according to the desired material, unit and series size.
Delivery times can be very short if necessary thanks to our flexible subcontractors.
We are specialized in steel, iron and aluminum castings using the sand mold method.
We can deliver the castings already painted and machined according to the agreed terms and conditions.

Consulting and simulation

Careful planning has a significant impact on the final result of the casting. Our expert, with more than ten years of experience, will provide planning and consulting to optimize the castability of the part. We use MAGMASOFT simulation software, which enables the study of the casting parameters and eliminates potential failures of the casting process during the design phase.

We can also help in the product development and product design phase to ensure that your casting is designed from the beginning in such a way that the final manufacturing method and series production are taken into account.
